  • Pakistan army makes two-fold attack on the headquarters of the freedom fighters of Chittagong in Ramgarh using cannons and mortars. After whole day of battle, the freedom fighters cross the border to take position in the Indian sub-room. Pakistan army enter in Ramgarh at night and commit atrocities including murder, rape and burning down houses.

 

  • Freedom fighters make fierce attack on Pakistan forces in Kishoreganj. On the other hand, Pakistan forces make long distance attack from 10 miles away of Kishoreganj named Birol. Pakistan forces bomb a refugee camp in Radhikapur, a place in the Indian border. One person is killed in it along with many injured.

 

  • In Pirojpur, Siraj Sikder form a committee to conduct guerilla styled wars. The committee elects Jahanara Begum (wife of Siraj Sikder) as the chairperson, Shahnewaz as the commander in chief, Mujib in the public relations and Mahtab as a member. The camp area is divided into several sectors.
