• Freedom fighters kill four Pakistani army personnel including a captain ambushing a microbus on Ramgar-Karerhat road at Chikanchhara of Chittagong.

 

• A fierce fight erupts when Freedom fighters attack Pakistan army at Kamalpupr of Rajshahi.

 

• Indian foreing minister Sardar Sharan Sing tells the parliament that the Indian government was not giving recognition to Bangladesh. The government thought had not come yet. The government is considering the matter.

 

• Terming Justice Abu Sayeed as a ‘forger’, Pakistan ruler says the man was involved in propaganda with the help of Indo-British finance.

 

• The anti-liberation brokers assemble at Noakhali led by district Peace Committee chairman Advocate Saydul Haque, Prof Fazle Azi among others and decided to help Pakistan to combat freedom fighters.
